This policy is meant to help you understand what data we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at our support page.
This policy applies to all information collected or submitted on SMSBarrier’s website and our apps for iPhone and any other devices and platforms.
Information we collect
When you enable SMSBarrier message filtering on your device, we will have access to the text and content included in incoming SMS and MMS messages that you receive from senders that are not in your device contacts. These messages may include verification codes from banks or other institutions, as well as other personal or sensitive information that may be in SMS or MMS messages.
You can disable SMSBarrier at any time, which will prevent the application from receiving any incoming SMS and MMS messages.
Like many websites and apps, we also store information through the use of software that may be transparent to users. For example, we may log your IP address and general information about your browser or device.
In-app analytics SMSBarrier’s iOS app collects aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to improve the app and prioritize future development efforts. Crash reports are also collected to help improve the app.
